The Accounting Department of Lithuanian Post invites a Senior Specialist from the Reporting and Tax Accounting Group to join:
Pending Responsibilities:
- You will ensure the calculation, declaration and control of VAT, real estate and corporate taxes;
- You will prepare and submit financial (according to IFRS), statistical, INTRASTAT reports and tax declarations;
- You will ensure timely payment of taxes;
- You will participate in monthly, quarterly, year-end closing and annual audit processes;
- You will prepare and improve tax accounting procedures, chart of accounts and financial dimensions;
- You will consult colleagues on tax issues and cooperate with auditors and other departments;
- You will prepare information and reports for management and other interested parties;
- You will contribute to the professional growth of the team and perform other tasks related to the position.
We hope you:
- You have a higher education in economics, finance or accounting;
- You have at least 2 years of work experience in the field of accounting and taxation;
- You are fluent in Lithuanian and have good command of English;
- You are well versed in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and legal acts regulating tax accounting;
- You have good MS Office skills; work experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (MD 365 FO) would be an advantage;
- You are responsible, diligent, honest, proactive, focused on quality and continuous improvement.
