Return cargo (container) manager

You will analyze the import container unloading plan daily and look for return cargo for unloaded containers on the same or next day;
You will actively search for and attract exporters and forwarders whose cargo is loaded near the company's import unloading points (Kaunas, Vilnius, Panevėžys, Šiauliai, etc.);
You will coordinate the possibilities of using containers for export with container lines and their agents;
You will organize orders and coordinate the execution of export orders;
You will negotiate prices, prepare commercial offers and conclude agreements with customers;
You will cooperate with transport managers and dispatchers in order to effectively coordinate import and export transportation during one trip;

You will administer orders in TMS, InfoTrans and other used systems;
You will enter orders into TMS / InfoTrans systems;
You will analyze performance results and make suggestions for increasing the share of return cargo.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Effective use of import containers, ensuring that as many of them as possible return to the port of Klaipėda loaded with export cargo, and not empty.
• Growth of return cargo income and ensuring a profitable price level.
• Search for new export customers and partners and development of long-term relationships.
• Smooth planning of return cargoes so that they do not interfere with planned transport trips and the fleet of trucks is maximally utilized.

WE EXPECT THAT YOU

• You have at least 2 years of work experience in container logistics, expedition or transport services sales.
• You are familiar with container transport processes, Klaipėda port operations, operating principles of container terminals and lines.
• You are able to actively search for customers, conduct negotiations and achieve sales results.
• You are able to make decisions quickly and plan your work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• You are fluent in Lithuanian and English. Knowledge of Russian would be an advantage.
• You have good computer skills (MS Excel, TMS systems).
• You have contacts among Lithuanian exporters or forwarders would be a great advantage.
• You are proactive, result-oriented and able to independently organize your activities.
