With us, you will have the opportunity to:
- Ensure the operation and development of the organization's civil protection and emergency preparedness system, in compliance with legal acts, regulatory and internal requirements;
- Monitor national security and civil protection threats, assess their potential impact and develop emergency response scenarios and plans;
- Coordinate emergency and crisis preparedness and response, ensuring clear governance, decision-making, responsibilities and readiness for mobilization;
- Coordinate employee safety and business continuity measures, including alternative workplaces, remote working options, necessary resources, continuity of critical functions and supplier resilience;
- Organize preparedness exercises and simulations, assess the organization's preparedness, initiate improvements and provide expert consultations and recommendations to the management, Crisis Management Committee, institutions and other interested parties.
We expect that you:
- Have a higher education in civil or fire protection, national or public security, public administration, law, engineering, management or another related field;
- Have 3-5 years of work experience in civil protection, emergency or crisis management, business continuity, resilience, security or another related field;
- Have a good understanding of the Lithuanian civil protection, crisis management and mobilization requirements and have practical knowledge of risk assessment, response planning, crisis exercises and business continuity;
- You are fluent in Lithuanian and English, have excellent document preparation and MS Office skills;
- Able to communicate effectively with management, Crisis Management Committee, state institutions and other stakeholders, clearly convey complex and sensitive information and coordinate actions during emergencies;
- A business continuity or crisis management certificate (e.g. ISO 22301 or CBCI) would be an advantage.
