MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- monitor and ensure smooth baggage claim process at the arrival terminal, coordinate more complex flights with large amounts of baggage;
- ensure that baggage claim lanes operate without disruptions, are clean and properly maintained;
- provide passengers with information about baggage receipt, delay or loss, help resolve any issues that arise;
- help passengers navigate the arrival terminal and direct them to the necessary places – lost baggage department, customs, exits or information center;
- in case of lane malfunctions, temporarily remove baggage blockages and inform technical maintenance services about malfunctions;
- coordinate the elimination of technical malfunctions together with the airport maintenance and infrastructure teams;
- in case of airport malfunctions or flight delays, help manage passenger flows and ensure order in the arrival area;
- cooperate with other airport departments – security, technical maintenance, information and passenger service teams.
IMPORTANT FOR THIS POSITION:
- experience in customer service or other related fields;
- sociability, positivity, excellent communication skills, flexibility and conflict management;
- good knowledge of English;
- at least secondary education;
- motivation to learn and improve in the field of aviation security;
- impeccable reputation according to the requirements of the Aviation Law of the Republic of Lithuania (checked before employment).
WORK SCHEDULE:
Work is done in one shift (12 hours each) 09:00-21:00 or 21:00-09:00.
