Audit Project Manager in Vilnius

You will be the main contact person for clients – you will maintain contact, solve problems, inform about the progress of work
You will manage audit projects – you will plan, allocate tasks to the team and ensure the quality of work
You will manage the client portfolio – you will monitor profitability and look for growth opportunities
You will consult on financial accounting and reporting issues
You will present the results to clients and audit partners
You will help implement business strategies and offer additional services
You will form a team, organize training and participate in company events
You will follow changes in legislation that may affect clients' activities

Requirements:
Have a higher education in finance, economics, accounting, auditing or a related field
Have at least 5 years of experience in the field of financial statement auditing;
Have gained experience in project management, especially financial audit projects;
Proficient in MS Excel and have good knowledge of English (B2 level and above);
Understand Lithuanian Financial Accounting Standards (LFAS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS);
You are an analytical, structured person, with attention to detail, thoroughness and professional skepticism

Main responsibilities:
Able to communicate smoothly, cooperate and work effectively in a team. Constantly update knowledge and improve qualifications (at least 40 hours per year)
Good knowledge of BDO audit methodology and internal processes
Adhere to the principles of professional ethics and independence
Maintain contact with clients - inform them about the audit progress, results and problems observed
Identify risks, plan audit projects and distribute tasks to the team
Apply appropriate audit procedures and collect reliable evidence
Carefully document the audit progress, collected evidence and conclusions
Lead the team - coordinate work, monitor efficiency and resolve emerging problems
Prepare reports and present results to partners and clients;
Participate in client management meetings and provide advice on risk management and internal control issues
