SENIOR AUTOMATION ENGINEER

You will contribute to the creation of a green and safe energy ecosystem:

• Ensuring the planning and implementation of maintenance, repairs and timely inspection of technical condition of power plant electric drives, communications, signaling, control and protection, metrology and calibration, automation, control systems equipment;
• Working in a team and coordinating the work and tasks of subordinate automation, metrology and control systems engineers;
• Operating and servicing automation and control systems equipment;
• Preparing monthly, annual and multi-year repair and maintenance plans;
• Representing the interests of the company in cooperation with contracting organizations when ordering work and controlling the quality of the work performed;
• Preparing, completing and correcting technical documents for the equipment under maintenance;
• Preparing technical conditions for design, repair, equipment improvement services;
• Organizing public procurement for the acquisition of services and goods necessary for the maintenance and operation of automation equipment.

• Higher university education in engineering in control systems, automation or robotics;
• At least 3 years of work experience in the field of organizing technical maintenance and repair of control systems, automation or robotics equipment;
• Excellent technological knowledge of control systems;
• Experience in organizing purchases and preparing technical specifications for the maintenance and operation of automation equipment;
• Knowledge of the laws, legal acts, regulatory documents and rules of the Republic of Lithuania regulating activities in the energy sector;
• Energy worker's certificate (AK up to 1000V, VK up to 1000V);
• Good skills in working with basic MS Office programs;
• English language proficiency level not lower than B1;
• Category B driver's license.

An advantage would be:

• Experience in coordinating the tasks and work of subordinate personnel;
• Experience with Siemens Simatic Step7, Siemens TIA Portal, WIN CC, Scada, DCS systems or similar;
• Knowledge of radio communication, GSM and other data network (TCP/IP) equipment;
• Knowledge of Profibus, Fieldbus and Profinet industrial communication protocols: their differences and applications. Also knowledge of the use of these protocols in industrial automation systems, ensuring proper data transfer and management.

The fixed salary range for the position group is from EUR 2,770 to EUR 4,150 (before tax). A specific salary is offered based on experience and competence. A variable remuneration component may be paid in addition to the salary.
