AUTOMOTIVE PURCHASING MANAGER

We are a rapidly growing used car sales company in Lithuania, striving to ensure the highest quality standard for our customers.

Monitor Lithuanian and foreign car auctions and other car sales channels on a daily basis;
Analyze the market and form a list of cars to be purchased according to the company's needs;
Assess the market price of cars, liquidity, equipment and potential selling price;
Assess the technical condition, body defects, mileage, history and possible repair costs of cars sold at auctions;
Determine the maximum economically reasonable purchase price of the car and make decisions on participation in the auction;
Calculate the total cost of the car, assessing transportation, repair, auction and other costs;
Organize and administer car transportation from abroad;
Manage documents related to car transportation, including CMR;
Search and establish contacts with new car suppliers, auctions, trading floors and other partners abroad;
Maintain and expand relationships with existing suppliers;
Constantly monitor changes in car market prices, demand and trends;
Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure that purchased vehicles align with the company's sales strategy.

Good knowledge of the car market and different models;
Ability to independently assess the condition of the car based on photos, description and available information;
Understanding of body damage, repair costs and residual value of the car;
Ability to analyze prices and make decisions about when a car is worth buying and when not;
Responsibility and diligence;
Good negotiation and communication skills;
Ability to work independently and make decisions quickly;
Knowledge of English is an advantage; knowledge of other foreign languages is a great advantage;
Experience working with car auctions is an advantage;
Knowledge of CMR and transportation documents is an advantage.
