AX Software Engineer

About the role

As a AX Software Engineer, you’ll play an important role in shaping and improving the business-critical applications that support our organization. You’ll be involved throughout the development lifecycle: from understanding business needs and designing solutions to developing, enhancing, and maintaining reliable applications.


What we expect from you:

• Proven software development experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, .NET or similar technologies.
• Strong knowledge of writing clean, maintainable, scalable, and testable code.
• SQL knowledge with the ability to monitor data, investigate issues, and perform data validation in SQL Server environment.
• Basic knowledge of Jira for task management, Agile team collaboration, and development workflow tracking.
• Experience with software architecture, solution design, and development best practices.
• Practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the full software development lifecycle.
• Ability to design and develop secure, reliable, and high-quality software solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Ability to understand and contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and development standards.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with software engineers, solution architects, business analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical tasks, and effectively plan and prioritize work.
• Willingness to mentor colleagues, share technical knowledge, and continuously develop your skills.

What you will do:

• Work closely with software engineers, solution architects, business analysts, and business stakeholders to develop effective software solutions.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment, using Agile/Scrum practices.
• Develop secure, scalable, reliable, and well-architected solutions that meet business and user needs.
• Take ownership of your work, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver solutions on time while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Follow and contribute to development standards, best practices, and technical documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and retrospectives, sharing feedback and ideas to improve the quality of the solutions and the way the team works.
• Investigate technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective fixes and improvements.
• Continuously learn, improve your skills, and stay up to date with relevant technologies and development practices.

• Base monthly salary: from 3350 to 4190 EUR (before tax). The final offer will depend on the candidate’s experience, competencies, and overall fit for the role.
