FURNITURE WAREHOUSE OWNER / DRIVER – KAUNAS

We have opened a new Baldusale.lt furniture warehouse and goods collection point in Kaunas, in the White Gallery of the URMO shopping mall. We are looking for a reliable colleague for long-term work - to receive and issue goods, maintain order in the warehouse and, if necessary, deliver furniture to customers together with a colleague.

Basic salary - about € 1,300 in hand. With additional paid hours - € 1,500 and more.
Working hours: 8:00–17:00. A fixed schedule is selected: I–V or II–VI.

We are looking for a reliable and responsible colleague for long-term work - someone who, after training, we could entrust with the daily order of the warehouse, the receipt, preparation and issuance of goods to customers.

The work is varied, but clear: you will mainly work in the warehouse, and if necessary, you will drive the company's transport and, together with a colleague, deliver furniture to customers.

• Furniture reception, checking quantities, models and packaging conditions;
• Unloading arriving trucks with a hydraulic pallet truck;
• Unloading and loading upholstered and other large-sized furniture by hand together with colleagues;
• Sorting and neatly arranging goods in designated warehouse areas;
• Selecting, assembling and preparing customer orders for issue;
• Issuing ordered goods to customers;
• Simple computer work - checking product balances and order information;
• Receiving, signing, scanning and transferring CMR documents of arriving goods to the head office;
• Loading courier vehicles with prepared orders;
• As needed - driving company transport and delivering furniture to customers together with a colleague;
• Maintaining warehouse order and clear layout of goods;
• After gaining experience – help in introducing a replacement or new colleague to the warehouse work procedure.

This is not a sales job – you will need to neatly issue already ordered goods to customers.

Working with a computer is not complicated, and we will show you all the systems used and the work procedure.

Larger and heavier furniture is loaded together with other team members – one employee will not have to carry large furniture.

You can choose one of two fixed schedules:

• Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 17:00 - Saturday and Sunday off;
• Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 17:00 - Sunday and Monday off.

Work in one shift, no night shifts.

If a delivery trip sometimes takes longer than the established working hours, all additional hours worked will be recorded and paid separately.

• Responsibility, punctuality and attentiveness when working with goods and documents;
• Ability to independently perform daily tasks and communicate politely with customers and colleagues;
• Basic computer skills;
• Valid category B driver's license and the ability to safely drive the company minibus;
• Physical endurance for active work with furniture - we load heavier furniture together.

Experience in a warehouse, logistics or furniture delivery is an advantage.

Understanding of Polish is a very big advantage, because most product labels are in Polish. You do not need to speak it fluently. Do not speak Polish, but are you attentive and a quick learner? We still invite you to apply.

• Basic salary – €2,050 excluding taxes, approximately €1,300 in cash;
• All additional hours worked are paid separately;
• For longer trips and additional hours, the total monthly remuneration can reach €1,500 and more in cash.
