The bartender is a waiter

We are looking for a bartender for a long-term friendship!

We are one of the oldest family cafes in the Old Town, which turns into a jazz club in the evenings and we ask the universe to send us you!

About us:

• we are a cafe, not a restaurant, no complicated cocktails or luxurious champagnes;
• you will need to serve tables when you are without a waiter on quieter winter evenings ❄️

✌️ in the winter season we are quieter with respect to guests;

• we have good concerts several times a month because we are the mother of the Užupis jazz club, which is a lot of good luck;
• we work from ten to ten. a little longer in the summer.
• we give 1100€ as a trial and then we go up a little;
• There is an opportunity to earn extra money by taking on additional responsibilities, if you are willing;
• If you are a super cocktail master and get high from "zavals" - this will not happen with us. So assess whether a slower/different pace suits you.

We have an established, stable team that has been working for 5-10 years.
A former employee left to improve his skills at another place after many years of friendship.
So we are looking for a future bartender for more than one season.

We are looking for:

• full-time bar face - in the morning you will serve coffee to local, regular friends, then you will listen to how tourists are fascinated by Užupis, and in the evening you will rock with jazz musicians when the roof of the cafe rises 🎷
• Experience behind the bar is a must; also, understanding of banquets;
• good English basics is a must - but do we all speak it these days?
• It's great if you can work alone and in a team - in winter we have a quieter audience, in summer - you will get a team of waiters!
• It would be nice if you knew those two mysterious X and Z. Because you will take away your cash register.
