We are currently inviting a Librarian (0.5 full-time) to join the ISM community!
In this position, you will communicate with students, lecturers and the international academic community every day, help them discover and effectively use information resources, contribute to the development of information literacy and the development of library services.
Working hours - 20 hours per week. Work takes place on weekday evenings and Saturdays (10:00–17:00) according to a rolling work schedule.

In this position, you will communicate with students, lecturers and the international academic community every day, help them discover and effectively use information resources, contribute to the development of information literacy and the development of library services.

You will be responsible for:
- Serving library visitors (students, employees);
- Consulting visitors on information resource search and use issues;
- Cataloging and archiving publications;
- Organizing and conducting information literacy training for members of the academic community;
- Introducing and disseminating library services in the academic community;
- Contributing to the improvement of library activity processes and the implementation of new initiatives;
- Maintaining order in library spaces and ensuring their smooth use;
- Organizing library events and initiatives;
- Performing other functions related to library activities.
We hope you:
- Have a higher education (or are a student);
- Have administrative or customer service experience;
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Are interested in literature, information search and the academic environment;
- Are able to work with various information systems and quickly master new digital tools;
- Are attentive to details;
- Are responsible, proactive, able to work both independently and in a team;
- Have excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Love to learn and share knowledge with others;
- Are fluent in Lithuanian and English (both written and spoken).
