Your duties and responsibilities:
- Work with a large-scale fermentation line;
- Preparation of growth media required for microbial fermentation, ensuring accuracy and sterility to maintain optimal growth conditions;
- Maintenance of microbial cultures used in fermentation processes, including preparation of primary inoculation, monitoring of microbial growth, viability and purity;
- Operation of bioreactors for microbial fermentation – installation, monitoring and troubleshooting;
- Accurately recording fermentation data and maintaining detailed records of fermentation parameters, assisting in data analysis and process efficiency assessment;
- Primary/reprocessing of cultured biomass via continuous centrifugation and spray drying;
- Operation and maintenance of large-scale centrifuge and spray dryer;
- Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines, including proper handling of hazardous materials and compliance with regulatory requirements, to ensure a safe working environment;
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams – scientists, engineers and technicians – to solve problems, optimize processes and implement improvements in upstream fermentation operations.

You have at least 2 years of work experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in the field of microbiology or biotechnology.
Additional important information:
The production line operates 7 days a week, so the work schedule will be organized taking this into account. Work is carried out only in day shifts.
