Main responsibilities:
- Perform technical inspection of freight wagons and determine the need for repairs
- Distribute wagon repair work to employees and indicate methods for eliminating faults
- Perform freight wagon repair work according to the qualifications
- Perform routine repairs and fencing of wagons parked on railway tracks
- Operate equipment necessary for repair work (wagon lifts, gantry cranes, etc.) and perform cargo hooking work
- Maintain and repair equipment at the repair station according to competence
- Deputize for the station foreman during his vacation or temporary incapacity
- Ensure order and cleanliness in the workplace
- Keep records of wheel brakes and control their technical condition
What do we expect?
- Basic education and professional qualifications as a locksmith or welder
- Technical education in the field of railway transport is an advantage
- Ability work with MS Office programs
- Good knowledge of Lithuanian
- Load handler and (or) ground-controlled bridge crane operator certificate is an advantage
- Responsibility, diligence and ability to independently organize work
