“Edrauda” is the largest online insurance broker company in Lithuania, working with insurance solutions for private and business clients.

We are inviting an accounting specialist / accountant to join the team, who will contribute to the smooth management of insurance and company accounting and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.

The most important thing in this position is diligence, responsibility, the ability to work with accounting data and the ability to cooperate with colleagues in the field of accounting and finance. The new employee will report to the Finance Manager and will work together with supporting colleagues in the accounting department.

Manage the accounting of the assigned company, in cooperation with colleagues in the accounting department.

Prepare and submit financial, tax reports, declarations and other accounting data to insurance companies and state institutions.

Accounting for insurance premiums and commissions, declarations, policy terminations, refunds, overpayments, debt administration and other accounting operations related to policies.

Perform commission accounting and settlement, monitor outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies.

Accounting for purchase and sales accounts.

Perform monthly closing checks, prepare data for periodic reports and ensure that accounting work is performed in a high-quality and timely manner.

Work with accounting systems and other systems used: verify data, administer accounting requests and resolve discrepancies related to accounting data.

Assist the Finance Manager with daily accounting tasks.

Collaborate with the sales team, IT, underwriters and other colleagues when information or situation reconciliation is required.

Other routine accounting tasks.

Accounting and bookkeeping work experience, at least 2 years.

Ability to work with accounting documents, reports, declarations and financial data.

Ability to independently plan and manage daily tasks, meet deadlines and work accurately with large amounts of data.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting programs.

Diligence, responsibility, analytical thinking, attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Clear communication and ability to cooperate constructively with colleagues and external partners.

Ability to plan one's work and meet deadlines.

English at B1 level.

Experience in an insurance company, insurance brokerage or financial services sector.

Experience working with commission accounting, payment settlement, debt administration or month-end closing processes.

Experience working with AI tools.
