About the job offer, nature of the work
We are a growing group of companies operating in the energy, real estate and other project areas. We handle accounting ourselves, internally – we have our own finance and accounting team, whose main base is in Šakiai, but the possibility of working in the office in Kaunas is not excluded. Due to the growing volume, we are looking for a meticulous, responsible and independent accountant who is well versed in accounting processes, is able to work accurately and meet deadlines and could take over the accounting of several companies in the group. We are looking for a person who values order and quality work.
What will you do:
- You will manage the entire accounting cycle of several group companies - from primary documents to financial statements;
- You will register and check primary accounting documents;
- You will keep records of purchases, bank and other business transactions;
- I will calculate wages;
- You will prepare tax returns, reports and other necessary accounting documents;
- You will supervise settlements with suppliers, customers and other partners;
- You will manage the accounting and reconciliation of mutual settlements between group companies;
- You will prepare sets of annual financial statements;
- Together with the team, you will implement uniform accounting standards throughout the group.
- You will help ensure that accounting processes are carried out smoothly, accurately and on time;
- You will perform other tasks related to finance and accounting assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.
Employee requirements:
- Higher education in finance, economics, accounting or a related field;
- Experience working in the field of accounting, not less than 2 years;
- Good computer literacy and the ability to quickly understand new systems;
- Diligence, attention to detail and a high sense of responsibility;
- Professionalism, reliability and impeccable reputation;
- The ability to independently plan work, meet deadlines and smoothly cooperate with colleagues.
- Excellent computer skills, we will consider experience working with BSS IT accounting software as an advantage.
- Quick orientation, analytical thinking, responsibility, teamwork;
- Ability to find and use the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania;
- Ability to effectively manage and systematize information.
