Nature of work
We are looking for a diligent and responsible accountant who would be responsible for payroll accounting and cash bookkeeping. No experience is required – we provide on-the-job training.
Main responsibilities:
Main responsibilities:
- Calculating wages, sick leave, vacation pay and other employment-related benefits.
- Preparing and submitting Social Security and Tax Administration (SODRA) and VAT reports
- Entering working hours and personnel data into the accounting program “Personalo Skāita”.
- Cash bookkeeping: filling out cash income/expense orders, keeping a cash book.
- Controlling settlements with employees.
- Assistance in other areas of accounting (as needed).
Employee requirements
- Accounting or financial education
- Computer literacy
- Responsibility, diligence and ability to work independently
- Advantage – basic knowledge of payroll and cash register.
