Main responsibilities:
This is one of the critical leadership positions of the finance function in the organization, responsible for a team of 27 professionals.
We are looking for a manager who will not only ensure high accounting quality, but also transform the function – standardize, automate and create effective business models, managing a geographically dispersed team operating in a decentralized environment and will be able to create a clear operating structure, responsibilities, and evaluation indicators in a complex organizational environment.
The workplace is available in: Kaunas, Vilnius or Klaipėda.

- optimally organize the activities of the department, implement a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency, as well as innovation and high achievements;
- provide insights into the improvement of accounting-related processes and actively engage in their implementation;
- organize the Company's accounting, ensure accountability;
- advise management and employees on accounting issues;
- participate in decisions regarding investments, costs and efficiency;
- monitor changes in legislation at the national and EU level;
- assess and manage the company's financial risks;
- form a highly competent team, ensuring training, talent development and career opportunities;
- ensure effective and high-quality work organization of subordinate employees, control over the performance of employee functions, and decision-making.
- assess the current maturity of the accounting function;
- identify the main areas of inefficiency (processes, structure, functions, responsibilities, competencies);
- create a more effective responsibilities and work organization model for the team;
- initiate priority automation/optimization solutions;
- set and implement clear performance indicators.
We are looking for a colleague who
- is ambitious, organized, able to generate new ideas and implement them;
- has experience in implementing and improving accounting programs;
- is able to use advanced AI tools in daily activities;
- has leadership qualities, is open to innovations, is able to listen to and motivate a team;
- has at least 7 years of experience in accounting / financial management and at least 5 years of experience in leading a team;
- has a higher university education (accounting / finance, etc.);
- has a category B driver's license;
- is able to communicate in English at B2 level.
Advantages:
- experience in optimizing / standardizing processes, creating control points;
- ERP implementation / development experience;
- practical application of AI tools to increase team efficiency;
- ACCA / CFA certificates;
- experience in large organizations or "Big Four" companies.
