Accountant - bookkeeper

A growing company in Kaunas is looking for an independent and responsible accountant.

We are looking for more than just someone who would ensure orderly accounting. We are looking for a responsible financial partner for the manager who would see the overall financial situation of the company, notice risks in a timely manner and help make sound business decisions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting and taxes

• Full accounting and control of the company;
• Accounting for purchases, sales, bank, fixed assets, inventories and payroll;
• Preparation of VAT, GPM, corporate income tax and other declarations;
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements;
• Accounting for wages or preparation of necessary data for DU accounting;
• Control of production, warehouse and project cost accounting;
• Communication with the State Tax Inspectorate, "Sodra", auditors and other institutions.

Financial control and support to the manager

• Monitoring the company's financial results, cash flows, debts and expenses;
• Analysis of the profitability of projects and activities;
• Regular presentation of key financial indicators to the manager;
• Identification of financial risks, deviations and problem areas;
• Providing recommendations to the manager regarding costs, taxes, cash flows and financial decisions;
• Participation in budget planning and forecasting the company's financial results.

WHAT WE EXPECT

• At least 3 years of independent accounting experience;
• Strong accounting and tax knowledge;
• Experience in preparing financial statements and declarations;
• Ability to analyze the company's financial results;
• Experience working with Excel, accounting and ERP systems;
• Independence, responsibility and initiative;
• Ability to notice a problem, name it and offer a specific solution to the manager.

WE WILL PARTICULARLY APPRECIATE IF
You have experience in a manufacturing company, understand the processes of raw materials, warehouse, production, cost and material write-off.
We are looking for a person who does not wait until the problem is noticed at the end of the year, but constantly controls the quality of accounting.
