We expect from you
- 2-3 years of accounting experience (experience with VAT and Intrastat is a big advantage);
- Higher non-university education (in the field of management, economics or exact sciences)
- Good knowledge of the VAT Law of the Republic of Lithuania;
- Experience or desire to delve into international VAT accounting;
- Ability to work with a larger amount of data and analytically evaluate information;
- Good knowledge of English (Russian is an advantage);
- Good MS Excel skills;
- Responsibility, independence and desire to grow in the professional field.
We would consider the following as an advantage:
- experience with Intrastat reports;
- experience with the accounting program "Skaita".
Waiting for you
- Supervision of the accounting cycle of purchases and sales of two companies, using automated (robotic) accounting processes;
- VAT accounting and control, including the application of VAT codes of different countries;
- Participation in international transactions (including triangular trade) and ensuring their accounting;
- Preparation and submission of VAT reports for foreign VAT codes;
- Preparation and submission of Intrastat reports;
- Control, analysis and reconciliation of debts of buyers and suppliers;
- Implementation of month-end closing processes and quality assurance;
- Cooperation with auditors and participation in audits;
- Process improvement initiatives and active involvement in improving the quality of accounting.
