Kaunas - AB Linas Agro
Join our finance team and be responsible for the smooth accounting of trade transactions and the correct application of VAT in international trade transactions.

What will you do?

  • You will perform accounting of purchases, sales and other business operations.
  • You will administer the accounting of trade operations in Lithuania and foreign markets.
  • You will form and monitor purchase and sales orders in accounting systems.
  • You will perform inventory, cost and expense accounting.
  • You will administer the accounting of debtors and creditors, reconcile debt balances.
  • You will organize and control settlements with suppliers.
  • You will prepare and submit statistical, tax and group reports (Intrastat, IFRS, etc.).
  • You will ensure correct VAT accounting in international trade operations.
  • You will participate in audit processes and prepare the necessary information for auditors.
  • You will cooperate with business units and provide operational information as needed.
  • You will contribute to the efficiency and quality improvement of accounting processes.

You will feel successful in this position if:

  • You have a university or higher education in accounting, finance or economics.
  • You have at least 2 years of work experience in the field of accounting.
  • You have strong knowledge of tax accounting and VAT, especially in the field of international trade transactions.
  • You are able to independently assess and apply VAT regulations in the EU, export, import and other international trade operations.
  • You have experience working with purchasing, sales, inventory and debt accounting.
  • You are able to work with MS Excel and have experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta), Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar).
  • You are diligent, responsible and able to think analytically.
  • You speak English.
