ACCOUNTANT

UAB "Termoizola" is an industrial construction company that provides scaffolding installation and industrial thermal insulation services in Lithuania and abroad. As our activities expand, we invite an accountant to join the team who wants to not only perform daily accounting tasks, but also grow with the company and eventually assume the responsibilities of a chief accountant.

We are looking for a responsible, diligent and independent person with a solid accounting background, who wants to deepen their knowledge, get involved in process improvement and gradually expand their area of responsibility.

• Manage the company's purchase and sales accounting, verify accounting documents, ensure correct registration of income and expenses;
• Perform accounting of buyers and suppliers' debts, reconcile balances, analyze and resolve discrepancies;
• Register bank transactions, payments, advances, perform bank balance reconciliations;
• Perform accounting of fixed assets;
• Prepare data for tax returns, supervise VAT and other tax accounting;
• Perform control and reconciliation of assigned general ledger accounts;
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, prepare accounting and statistical reports;
• Cooperate with colleagues, auditors and state institutions;
• Contribute to the efficiency and improvement of accounting processes.

We hope that you will be able to independently manage the accounting areas entrusted to you - from document verification and registration to balance reconciliation and resolving any issues that arise.

• Have a university or higher education in accounting, finance or a similar field;
• Have at least 3 years of practical work experience in the field of accounting;
• Have a good understanding of accounting principles and tax accounting basics;
• Able to independently perform accounting operations, analyze information and notice discrepancies;
• You are meticulous, responsible, organized and result-oriented;
• Have good skills in working with Excel and accounting programs;
• Want to learn, take on more responsibility and develop professionally.

• Knowledge of the English language.
