Currently, we are inviting an experienced accountant to join the BSW Engineering team, who wants to not only independently manage full accounting and payroll processes, but also contribute to their improvement, automation and implementation of new systemic solutions in a growing organization.
Currently, we are inviting an experienced accountant to join the BSW Engineering team, who wants to not only independently manage full accounting and payroll processes, but also contribute to their improvement, automation and implementation of new systemic solutions in a growing organization.
By joining BSW you will have the opportunity to:
- Work with the company's full accounting - from daily accounting operations to monthly and annual closing and preparation of financial statements;
- Prepare tax, statistical and internal reports, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of accounting data;
- Calculate wages and administer the related process - from checking working time data to the final calculation of DU;
- Work with summary accounting of working time, bonuses, overtime, work on weekends and holidays, vacation pay, compensation and other DU elements;
- Prepare and submit declarations and reports to the State Tax Inspectorate, "Sodra", the Department of Statistics and other institutions;
- Cooperate with internal teams, managers and external accounting partners in resolving accounting and payroll issues;
- Contribute to the implementation, migration and development of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central accounting and payroll processes;
- Actively participate in reviewing and improving accounting processes, identify areas for improvement and propose practical solutions;
- Together with the finance team, look for opportunities to automate processes, reduce manual work and create a more efficient accounting function.
We expect from an accountant:
- At least 3 years of independent work experience in the field of accounting;
- Experience working with full company accounting, from daily accounting operations to monthly and annual closing and preparation of financial statements;
- Practical experience in calculating wages and good knowledge of Lithuanian wage accounting principles;
- Good knowledge of tax accounting and experience in preparing declarations for the State Tax Inspectorate, Social Insurance Institution and other institutions;
- Ability to independently analyze accounting data, notice discrepancies and look for solutions;
- Willingness not only to work according to existing processes, but also to improve, automate and contribute to systemic changes;
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central will be considered an advantage, but the most important thing is the desire to learn and get involved in the implementation of the system;
- Diligence, responsibility, analytical thinking and the ability to independently organize one's work;
- Minimum English language skills required for written communication and data exchange with foreign partners.
