Accountant

We are looking for someone who is interested in:

• Understanding the “why” and not just completing the task

• Improving processes, documents and work tools

What will you do?

• Managing the accounting and administration of primary accounting documents
• Registering and controlling purchases, sales and banking transactions
• Administering supplier accounts receivable accounting
• Submitting invoices to i.SAF and SABIS systems
• Ensuring fuel accounting control
• Performing tasks assigned by the chief accountant
• Deputizing for the chief accountant
• Preparing and submitting VAT and Social Security declarations as needed
• Managing advance accounting and accounting for fixed assets
• Collaborating with the accounting team
• Participating in process automation initiatives

Required:

• 2-3 years of work experience in the field of accounting
• Higher or higher education in the field of finance, accounting or economics
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Sharepoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Responsibility, diligence, analytical skills and initiative

An advantage, but not a necessity:

• Have theoretical and/or practical knowledge in payroll calculation and declaration
• Communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Involvement in improving processes

• 2,000–2,450 Eur/month salary before taxes + additional benefits
