Nature of work
We are expanding our finance team at Nayax Europe UAB and are looking for an Accountant to join us. Key Functions:
Accounts Payable (AP)

Accounts Payable (AP)
- Ensure that all supplier invoices are accurately recorded, properly approved and paid on time
- Properly apply the requirements of VAT and corporate tax laws in accounting for accounts payable
- Properly process and archive primary accounting documents
- Periodically review accounts payable aging reports (AP aging), resolve supplier inquiries
- Prepare VAT-related reports and reconcile tax balances
Other accounting tasks and responsibilities
- Record bank transactions in the accounting system, ensure accuracy of balances
- Prepare various calculations such as accruals, provisions and record journal entries
- Perform tasks accurately, on time and support process improvement and internal control
- Perform various ad-hoc tasks, analyses and calculations assigned by the Finance Manager, assist during audits, etc.
Employee requirements
- Lithuanian VAT accounting principles – required
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable (AP) accounting
- Education in accounting or similar field
- Experience with NetSuite and SAP ERP systems would be an advantage
- Ability to work with large amounts of data
- Excellent Excel skills
- Initiative, reliability and ambition, as well as a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
- Excellent knowledge of Lithuanian and English at a professional level
