Nature of work:
- Implementation and supervision of the full accounting cycle, working directly with the chief accountant;
- Coordination of daily accounting processes and responsibility for assigned accounting areas;
- Implementation of payroll accounting for administrative employees - calculation of wages, taxes, per diems and related declarations (the payroll accounting of other company employees is not within the responsibilities of this position);
- Preparation and submission of financial and tax reports and declarations to state institutions;
- Implementation of inventory and fixed asset accounting;
- Participation in the closing processes of monthly and annual accounting periods and their coordination in their areas of responsibility;
- Verification and control of accounting data - identification of discrepancies, assessment of the validity of documents;
- Participation in the audit process - preparation and submission of information to auditors and state institutions;
- Independent work and responsibility for the quality of assigned accounting processes and adherence to deadlines.
Requirements:
- Higher education in finance, accounting or related field;
- At least 5 years of accounting experience in a medium or large company;
- Good knowledge of the full accounting cycle, including month and year closing, taxes and audit processes;
- Experience in calculating employee salaries;
- Ability to independently manage assigned accounting areas and work closely with the chief accountant;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines;
- Independence, diligence and responsibility for the result;
- English language skills at B1 level (written);
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central program - an advantage;
- Experience working with the Rivilė program - an advantage;
- Experience working with foreign accounting - an advantage.
