Nature of work
A growing restaurant chain is looking for a proactive and motivated accountant who is eager to grow and develop. In this position, you will work alongside an external accounting team that oversees tax returns and high-level accounting organization, allowing you to focus on core accounting, payroll and payments processes. Upon completion of the next audit, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to take over the role of Chief Accountant.
Primary responsibilities
- Payroll (>100 employees, total timekeeping)
- Administration and control of invoices and payments
- Cooperation with external accounting team in providing data for tax and annual reports.
- Accurately close the month according to the deadlines agreed with the Finance Manager
- Constantly look for opportunities to improve and automate accounting processes, reducing the volume of manual work
- Other tasks assigned by the Finance Manager
What are we hoping for
- Has at least 3 years of work experience in accounting, finance or accounting (experience in the catering or manufacturing sectors is an advantage)
- Practical experience in calculating wages according to the total accounting of working hours
- Excellent knowledge of the Lithuanian tax system, accounting standards and labor law
- Experience in working with accounting programs (Rivile is an advantage)
- Good skills in working with MS Excel
- Responsibility, attention to detail, ability to work independently and organize work
- Motivation to grow and desire to improve - openness to new knowledge, initiative in implementing more efficient work methods, desire to take over the responsibilities of a chief accountant.
