Main responsibilities and objectives:
- To lead the Internal Audit Department and ensure effective organization, planning and coordination of its activities.
- To develop and improve the internal audit methodology, ensure the performance of internal audits, their quality, presentation of results and monitoring of the implementation of recommendations.
- To plan the activities of the department, prepare long-term and annual activity plans based on risk assessment.
- To advise the management of the Ministry and the institutions under the control of the Minister of Finance on issues of governance, risk management and internal control.
- To coordinate cooperation with other audit performers, initiate the use of experts for specific audits, ensure the organization of external assessments and be responsible for the validity of internal audit conclusions and recommendations.
We hope you:
- You have a higher university education, with a master's degree or equivalent higher education qualification in the field of economics, law, business, management, finance, accounting or public administration studies.
- Have at least 2 years of work experience in the field of audit or internal audit.
- You communicate well in Lithuanian.
- You have good analytical and large-scale information management, coordination, and systematization skills.
- You are able to communicate smoothly and in a reasoned manner.
- You are motivated and strive to improve.
- You care about Lithuania and its future, you strive to create value for society.
Offered salary (gross): 1762 -4477 EUR/month. The specific salary is negotiated individually, taking into account the work experience, competencies and compliance with other requirements of the position.
