About the company
Reaton Food, one of the leading distributors of high-quality food products in the Baltic States, has been operating in Lithuania since 2000. The company is currently looking for a Chief Accountant to work in Vilnius.
Key responsibilities
Mission: to organize the branch's accounting and tax accounting in close cooperation with the Finance Department and the Chief Accountant of the Baltic States. To prepare financial statements as a separate reporting unit, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania and the parent company's policy.
- Full-cycle accounting: to handle all tax accounting, state reporting and financial data for group consolidation.
- Financial management: to oversee the branch's profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow and budget execution.
- Internal control: to monitor receivables, credit limits and financial discipline in sales processes.
- Operational supervision: to administer payroll, fixed assets, banking operations and inventory counts.
- HR support: to manage local personnel documentation (recruitment / dismissal) in accordance with the group's personnel policy.
- Cooperation with external institutions: coordinate work with auditors, banks and state institutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education and Experience: Degree in Finance/Accounting and 5+ years of experience as a Senior or Chief Accountant.
- Technical Knowledge: Advanced MS Excel skills and practical experience working with ERP systems.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Lithuanian, Russian; English skills would be an advantage, but not required.
- Attitude: Strong analytical thinking, focus on accuracy and data quality.
