Lit Egg is a growing Lithuanian egg and poultry production company based in Plungé, operating multiple business units including LittEgg, Ariogalos Grudai, and Ylaki. With a team of nearly 200 employees and an annual turnover of approximately EUR 24 million, the company is entering a new phase of strategic expansion and requires an experienced operational leader to drive its next chapter of growth.
We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer who will gradually take over the day-to-day operational management of our production facilities, allowing the current leadership to focus on long-term strategic initiatives, expansion, and new business development. Over the course of one year, you will assume full responsibility for the operations of several related business units through a structured onboarding process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and develop a team of up to 200 employees across multiple production facilities, ensuring operational excellence and a culture of continuous improvement
- Oversee company administration, including process optimization, financial management, and HR matters across all business units
- Gradually take ownership of technological and production management within approximately one year, working closely with the current leadership during the transition
- Ensure smooth coordination between LittEgg, Ariogalos Grudai, and Ylaki operations, standardizing processes where beneficial while respecting unit-specific needs
- Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and quality assurance across all manufacturing activities
- Work in close collaboration with the leadership team to prepare the business for future expansion projects and strategic initiatives
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience in factory management, operations management, or CEO-level leadership positions within manufacturing
- Track record of managing large teams (100+ employees) and multi-site operations
- Strong understanding of production processes, supply chain management, and operational KPIs
- Experience in financial oversight, budgeting, and P&L responsibility
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Plungé area
- Leadership style that balances strategic thinking with hands-on operational involvement
WHAT WE OFFER
- Salary of EUR 8,000 to 8,500 gross per month
