As an intern in our Depositary Cash Flow Monitoring team, you will work with experienced professionals and internal stakeholders to support the monitoring of fund cash flows, the investigation of reconciliation differences and the timely delivery of depositary services to our clients.
As an intern in our Depositary Cash Flow Monitoring team, you will work with experienced professionals and internal stakeholders to support the monitoring of fund cash flows, the investigation of reconciliation differences and the timely delivery of depositary services to our clients.
Your Role:
- Assist with daily cash flow monitoring and cash reconciliation activities under the supervision of senior colleagues.
- Support the comparison of fund accounting records with bank or broker information and help identify reconciliation differences.
- Assist with the review of cash movements, including subscriptions, redemptions, trade settlements, fees and other fund-related transactions.
- Help obtain and organize supporting documentation for cash flow reviews and investigations.
- Maintain internal records, monitoring files and databases accurately and on time.
- Communicate with internal teams and, where appropriate, external parties to follow up on missing information or unresolved items.
- Escalate exceptions, unusual cash movements and outstanding differences to senior colleagues in line with established procedures.
- Support departmental reporting, process documentation and ad-hoc team activities.
About you:
- Currently studying Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics or a similar subject.
- Interested in financial services, investment funds and depositary operations.
- Eager to learn, attentive to detail and comfortable working with numerical information.
- Proactive, team-oriented and results driven, with a positive can-do attitude.
- Good organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Good written and spoken English and strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to dedicate 39 hours per week to the internship
