Nature of work
- Preparation and machining of parts using manual and small-scale CNC machines
- Performance of machining operations for non-standard equipment and prototypes
- Re-machining of parts manufactured with a 3D printer (drilling, milling, threading, adaptation, lapping)
- Modification of parts during the development and testing of new products
- Assembly of non-standard equipment assemblies and modules
- Selection of suitable cutting parameters, tools and fastening solutions
- Preparation of simple CAM trajectories or editing existing CNC (G-code) programs
- Quality control of manufactured parts, ensuring compliance with drawings and tolerances
- Participation in the development of technological processes and improving the accuracy of equipment
- Maintaining accounting for tools, fastening tools and consumables
Employee requirements
- Practical experience working with manual and benchtop CNC metalworking machines (milling, turning, drilling)
- Understanding the capabilities and limitations of small-scale (hobby-class) machine tools
- Skills in preparing, calibrating, maintaining and performing minor repairs to machine tools
- Ability to prepare CNC control programs (G-code)
- Experience working with entry-level to intermediate-level CAM software
- Knowledge of machining methods: milling, turning, drilling, threading, surface machining, grinding, etc.
- Experience working with aluminum, brass, plastic and small steel parts
- Basic CAD skills (for preparing 3D models or making minor changes)
- Understanding of tolerances, joints, precision principles and surface quality requirements
- Skills in mechanical processing and application of 3D printed parts (milling, drilling, threading of functional surfaces)
- Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to work with small parts
- Experience working with hand power tools
- Soldering or basic electronics assembly skills
- Ability to work with technical documentation
- Knowledge of Russian in writing and orally (required)
