CodeAcademy Kids - group mentor for children and teenagers

CodeAcademy Kids is looking for a mentor for groups for children and teenagers!

CodeAcademy Kids is one of the largest creative technology academies in Lithuania, organizing informal education classes for children and teenagers. Our programs cover various areas - from technology and engineering to activities that develop creativity, critical thinking and future competencies. We invite mentors who want to share their knowledge and inspire children and teenagers to learn, create and grow.

What will you do?
You will lead informal education classes (groups) for children and teenagers according to your competencies and interests. You will be able to teach one or more areas:
🔹Programming (Roblox, Minecraft, Unity, etc.);
🔹Artificial intelligence (AI);
🔹Robotics, engineering and automation;
🔹Cybersecurity;
🔹Web design and website development;
🔹3D modeling and printing;
🔹Content creation;
🔹Preparation for school;
🔹Other non-formal education programs.

Classes are held in CodeAcademy Kids academy spaces, general education schools, partner locations and remotely. Priority is given to live classes, so we are looking for a mentor who is comfortable conducting classes in different locations, not only remotely.

🔹Curiosity, responsibility and desire to work with children and adolescents;
🔹Ability to clearly convey knowledge and involve children in activities;
🔹Good communication skills in Lithuanian and basic English (for some programs and educational materials);
🔹Want to learn, improve and grow with the team;
🔹Experience is an advantage, but not necessary. We will provide all the necessary induction, training and ongoing team support.

🔹Additional work – from 1.5 to 15 hours per week.
🔹Classes take place in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda and remotely (priority – live classes).
🔹Schedule is adjusted according to the mentor's capabilities.
🔹Reward – from €15/hr. and more, depending on experience, competencies and programs conducted (when cooperating according to an individual activity certificate).

15-25 €/hour net
The remuneration is indicated in cooperation with the individual activity or business license certificate.
