Crossdock Senior Warehouseman

Are you able to organize warehouse work and join in when it is necessary to receive, unload or prepare shipments? Sendversal is looking for someone who would take care of daily crossdock activities, smooth movement of shipments and order in the warehouse.

This is an active position where work organization is combined with practical work: you will distribute tasks, supervise their implementation and, together with the team, load, sort and handle shipments.

What will you do?

• I will organize daily crossdock activities: receiving, unloading, sorting, distributing and loading shipments.
• I will plan work according to incoming and outgoing flows, set priorities and distribute tasks to the team.
• I will ensure that shipments are properly prepared and leave on time.
• I will contribute to loading, sorting of shipments and other daily warehouse work.
• You will handle returned shipments: accept, check, register and organize further actions.
• You will resolve daily discrepancies: missing, damaged or incorrectly routed shipments.
• You will coordinate actions with drivers, carriers and colleagues.
• You will ensure clear warehouse procedures, proper arrangement of shipments and safe work.
• You will propose and implement practical improvements in work organization.

• Experience in a warehouse, shipment terminal or crossdock.
• Ability to organize work, distribute tasks and supervise their implementation.
• Readiness to perform daily physical work together with a team.
• Responsibility and attention to shipments, their accounting and documents.
• Ability to maintain order and make decisions during intensive work.
• Independence and initiative in solving daily problems.
• Ability to use a computer and work with warehouse or shipment accounting systems.

• Ability to drive a forklift and a valid license.
