Job Description:
- Calculate wages and other employment-related benefits, prepare pay slips and make payments;
- Manage the accounting of wages, benefits, social insurance and income tax of institutions;
- Prepare certificates for employees about their wages and provide information necessary for pension and other benefits;
- Export and control payroll data in information systems (FABIS);
- Prepare data for payment applications, communicate with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania.
Requirements for an employee:
- Have a higher university or college education (bachelor's degree or equivalent);
- Be able to work with Microsoft Office programs and use state databases and information systems;
- Have experience in the field of payroll accounting;
- Be familiar with the legal acts regulating public sector accounting and be able to apply them;
- Know the principles of accounting and internal control;
- Be able to work in a team, communicate clearly, analyze information and make proposals.
