The company is currently strengthening the payroll accounting area and is looking for a DU accountant to join a small team of three people. Your responsibility will be to independently manage the assigned DU accounting part, calculate the salaries of posted employees and related benefits and ensure that everything is calculated accurately and on time. You will work in a team with an accountant and a manager who are actively involved in daily work processes. More complex or non-standard situations are resolved through cooperation, consultation and finding the best solution together.

What will your work look like?
Payroll accounting for employees posted abroad – you will calculate wages and related benefits: daily allowances, vacation pay, severance pay and disability benefits. There are about 400 employees in total, but their accounting is distributed among team members
GPM and "Sodra" reports – you will prepare and submit payroll-related tax reports and ensure that accounting meets the requirements of Lithuanian legislation
Work with an international environment – you will mainly work with the Dutch market. You will mainly communicate in English with a foreign consulting company in writing when you need to clarify issues related to employee accounting or taxation
Employee consulting – you will answer questions related to wages and prepare the necessary certificates
Work with Rivilė – you will perform daily accounting tasks there. If you haven't worked with Rivilė yet, but you are well versed in DU accounting, that's no reason not to apply - the company will provide training.

The following qualities and skills will be useful when applying:
At least 2 years of experience in payroll accounting, independently calculating DU and related taxes
Experience with posted employees - you know how to calculate benefits related to business trips and apply the appropriate tax requirements
Good Excel skills - you are able to work with larger amounts of data
English knowledge, both written and spoken
You like a clear structure and order, are able to independently plan your work and do not lose details even when you need to manage a larger amount of information at once.
Advantage:
Experience in calculating DU for employees working in the Netherlands.
Work experience with Rivile
Higher education in finance, accounting or a similar field.
