Our team of professionals in the finance department is looking for a Payroll Accountant. WE HOPE YOU WILL BE INTERESTED IN:

  • Calculate the wages, vacation pay, sick pay and other wage-related benefits of employees working on business trips abroad
  • Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring that all wages-related taxes and contributions are calculated and paid on time
  • Communicate with the State Tax Inspectorate (STI), "Sodra" and foreign accounting services companies, ensuring compliance with legal acts and other requirements
  • Consult company employees on tax and other wage-related issues
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the direct manager

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL NEED:

  • Higher education in finance, economics or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll accounting
  • Good oral and written English skills, necessary for communication with foreign institutions and consultants
  • Ability to work with accounting programs (Rivile experience would be an advantage) and MS Excel
  • Ability to effectively collaborate in a team
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to effectively plan and organize one's work
