STORA ENSO is an internationally operating group of wood and paper products companies offering renewable solutions to the packaging, biomaterials, wood construction and paper industries in global markets. UAB Stora Enso Lietuva, part of the Central European Wood Products Group, is currently looking for a Safety Administrator to work in Alytus, who will ensure that processes in the forestry division (20 employees) are carried out safely, in compliance with occupational safety, health (OSH) and environmental protection requirements.

OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION:

  • Ensure the effectiveness of OHS and environmental processes and compliance with legal acts and company rules in the forestry division.
  • Implementation of Chain of custody, FSC and PEFC forestry standards requirements.
  • Maintenance and support of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards in the forestry division. Participation in internal and external audits, non-conformity management.
  • Preparation and updating of OHS, environmental and CoC documentation.
  • Instruction and training of employees and contractors.
  • Analysis and prevention of incidents, accidents and violations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Higher education, an advantage – in the fields of OSH, environmental protection or natural sciences.
  • Valid occupational safety and health specialist certificate.
  • Knowledge of the LR OSH and environmental protection legislation, ability to apply them in practical situations.
  • Experience in supervising FSC, PEFC and ISO standards.
  • Initiative, responsibility, independence, good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Good knowledge of Lithuanian and English (required).
  • Category B driver's license.

2800-3100 €/mon. gross
