Nature of work
The works manager is responsible for the daily organization, coordination and control of construction and installation works at the construction site, ensuring that the works are carried out in accordance with the approved design documentation, established deadlines, quality, employee safety and project budget requirements. Place of work in Finland or Germany. Work on a business trip basis.
- Organization of construction works - organization of daily work, distribution of work;
- Work planning and control of deadlines - tracking of planned and actually performed work;
- Quality assurance - ensuring the quality of the performed work at all stages;
- Employee and subcontractor management;
- Control of materials, equipment and mechanisms;
- Employee safety - ensuring that the work is carried out in accordance with the safety and health requirements of the facility's employees;
- Documentation and reporting - recording downtime, daily work progress reports;
- Cost and budget control - identifying and recording additional work before it begins.
Employee requirements
- Practical experience in organizing construction or installation work.
- Ability to read technical drawings and design documentation.
- Knowledge of work technologies, quality and safety requirements.
- Ability to plan work, manage teams and coordinate subcontractors.
- Ability to use MS Office programs.
- Proficiency in English for work in international projects.
- Ability to independently make operational decisions according to the granted authority.
