Our client is a design, production and installation company that carries out various construction and installation projects in Lithuania. The company works with non-standard technical solutions and coordinates their entire implementation – from drawings to installation work at the site.
As the scope of work grows, the company is strengthening its team and looking for a project manager who would take care of the smooth implementation of projects – from preparation for production to installation at the site.
Is it suitable if you do not yet have extensive experience as a project manager?
Yes. Many years of experience are not necessary. It is more important to have a foundation in construction or project implementation, practical thinking and a desire to learn more. Your responsibilities
At the beginning of the work, the activity manager will help you get acquainted with the processes, priorities and specifics of the work, and later you will manage the assigned projects more and more independently:
- Get acquainted with the assigned projects, drawings, scope of work and required materials.
- Together with designers and colleagues, clarify technical and organizational issues of the project.
- Coordinate the ordering and supply of materials together with responsible team members.
- Transfer drawings and clear tasks to production on time, coordinate production deadlines.
- Plan the progress of work, create schedules and coordinate work times with customers.
- Organize installation and other site work, coordinate company employees and subcontractors.
- Go to sites, supervise the progress of work and resolve emerging organizational issues.
- Follow the agreed deadlines and ensure that the work is completed on time.
Requirements for the candidate
- General understanding of construction processes and the ability to read technical drawings or the desire to delve into them.
- Ability to plan work, coordinate deadlines and coordinate different executors.
- Practical thinking and the ability to solve situations at the site.
- Independence, initiative and responsibility for the result.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions when unclear, and apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
- Ability to communicate smoothly with customers, installers, subcontractors and colleagues.
