EMPLOYEE SAFETY AND HEALTH EXPERT(S)

The Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) team is growing – we invite an OSH expert to join us. In this position, you will help ensure that occupational safety and health prevention is not only described, but also works in practice.

You will contribute to the creation of a green and safe energy ecosystem:

• Ensuring the implementation of the OSH legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania, the Company’s and the Group’s internal requirements and their consistent application in complex and high-risk activities;
• Defining, implementing and maintaining OSH prevention systems and critical risk control models in the Company, identifying their shortcomings and initiating systematic improvement actions;
• Conducting regular and ad hoc inspections of workplaces, contractor activities and high-risk work, assessing the effectiveness of control measures; initiating the suspension of unsafe work when critical violations are identified;
• Conducting advanced occupational risk assessments, applying international methodologies, assessing safety-critical control measures;
• Conducting OSH incident reviews, analyzing their causes and providing recommendations on preventive measures;
• Consulting managers and employees on critical risks, safety devices, causes of incidents and other OSH topics;
• Providing proposals on occupational safety and health solutions, application of requirements and implementation of good practices.

• Higher education in engineering, technology, occupational safety and health or another related field;
• Professional experience in the field of occupational safety and health, working with production, energy, industry, construction or other high-risk activities (preferably 10 years);
• Excellent knowledge of the OSH legislation of the Republic of Lithuania and their practical application in high-risk activities;
• Experience in identifying and assessing critical OSH risks, establishing control measures, assessing their effectiveness and initiating systematic improvement actions;
• Experience in applying international risk assessment methodologies (e.g. "HIRA", "TRA", "ORA");
• Certified OSH specialist or equivalent professional qualification;
• Fire safety certificate;
• Impeccable Lithuanian language, good oral and written English skills;
• Category B driver's license.

An advantage would be:

• ISO 45001 auditor qualification;
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent international qualification;
• Energy Worker Certificate.

The fixed salary range for the position group is from EUR 3,430 to EUR 5,150 (excluding taxes). The specific salary is offered taking into account work experience and competence. A variable salary may be paid in addition to the salary.
