We are currently inviting you to join the team - Occupational Safety and Health Specialist, to work in Kaunas. This is a unique opportunity to work in an organization where occupational safety is based on clear standards, employee awareness, cooperation and continuous improvement in creating a safe and effective working environment.

WHAT RESPONSIBILITIES WILL WE TRUST YOU WITH:

  • Ensure and control compliance with the requirements of occupational safety and health, fire and civil protection regulatory legal acts and ISO 45001 in the company
  • Provide information and proposals to the company's management on the state of OSH and advise on preventive measures
  • Prepare regulatory documents on occupational safety and health
  • Instruct employees and organize occupational safety and health training
  • Register, analyze and investigate accidents, incidents, occupational diseases and organize the implementation of preventive measures
  • Conduct safety walkthroughs, internal audits, participate in external audits
  • Organize employee information, education, and events (such as safety campaigns) on occupational safety and health issues.

WE HOPE YOU:

  • Have a practical approach to occupational safety and health – documents alone will not protect us, they help ensure the system
  • Be guided by the principle that open communication and cooperation with all stakeholders is necessary to create a safe working environment
  • Want to improve and at the same time contribute to the company's performance results, for which "Safety first" is the basis of every action
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in the position of occupational safety and health specialist in an industrial company (work experience in a metalworking company is an advantage)
  • Want to work in an international organization (good knowledge of English (B2), knowledge of Russian is an advantage)
  • Have a higher or higher education and a certificate of a specialist in the occupational safety and health service
  • Have a driver's license (category B)
