Nature of work
- Organize and supervise the implementation of OSH requirements in the company and participate in the implementation process of fire and civil safety requirements;
- Prepare, administer and update occupational safety and health (OSH), fire safety and civil safety documentation;
- Organize and coordinate occupational risk assessment, assess the safety of workplaces, equipment and production processes and coordinate risk reduction measures;
- Control compliance with OSH, fire and civil safety requirements in the company;
- Monitor changes in legal acts, analyze safety indicators and risks, prepare reports and submit proposals for the implementation of preventive and safety improvement measures;
- Organize employee training, instruction, knowledge testing, mandatory training, certifications and other mandatory processes in the areas of OSH, fire and civil safety;
- Organize mandatory employee health checks and control their implementation;
- Organize fire and civil protection training, evacuation and emergency drills, monitor the compliance of evacuation routes, exits and fire safety measures;
- Organize investigations of accidents and incidents, analyze their causes, organize and control the implementation of preventive measures;
- Participate in the assessment of new equipment, production lines, workplaces and premises, make proposals for their safety and compliance;
- Organize the provision of employees with personal protective equipment, including work clothes and footwear, and control their issuance.
Employee requirements
- Higher/advanced education;
- Certificate confirming occupational safety and health qualification;
- Work experience in a manufacturing company in the field of occupational safety and health;
- Knowledge of occupational safety and health legislation of the Republic of Lithuania and the ability to apply them in practice;
- Excellent knowledge of Lithuanian (written and spoken), good knowledge of Russian (written and spoken), knowledge of English would be an advantage;
- Computer literacy;
- Strong sense of responsibility;
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
