We are looking for a Deputy MLRO to help strengthen our AML/CFT compliance and ensure we stay ahead of regulatory requirements. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to make an impact in the fintech sector, this could be the role for you!
We are looking for a Deputy MLRO to help strengthen our AML/CFT compliance and ensure we stay ahead of regulatory requirements. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to make an impact in the fintech sector, this could be the role for you!
Your key responsibilities:
- Support the MLRO in ensuring compliance with AML, KYC, sanctions, and other financial crime prevention requirements;
- Contribute to risk assessments, policy and procedure updates, and internal controls;
- Review high-risk cases, escalations, and STRs, ensuring timely and accurate submissions;
- Prepare reports for the Bank of Lithuania and internal management, and support audits;
- Monitor regulatory changes and provide recommendations for business adaptation;
- Cooperate with first line teams and provide AML/CFT guidance across the company;
- Train and advise employees on AML/KYC matters;
- Use AI tools (such as ChatGPT) to improve efficiency in daily compliance tasks.
What we're looking for:
- University degree in law, finance, economics, or a related field;
- At least 2-3 years of experience in AML, KYC, compliance, or risk management;
- Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and best practices;
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and recommend solutions;
- Strong communication and teamwork skills;
- Fluency in Lithuanian and English (written and spoken);
- Impeccable reputation, integrity, responsibility, and commitment to high ethical standards;
- Experience with AI tools and openness to innovation will be considered an advantage.
