Job description:
Your responsibilities
- Prepare preliminary, technical and working designs of products of varying complexity.
- Create kinematic diagrams, general layouts, and part and assembly drawings.
- Perform technical calculations, technical and economic analysis, and risk assessment when developing new products.
- Prepare technical documentation: technical specifications, operating manuals and instructions, product data sheets, and test programs.
- Review working designs and drawings and keep design documentation up to date.
- Coordinate designs with other company departments and customers and provide economic justification for solutions.
- Take part in the assembly, installation, adjustment, testing and commissioning of prototypes.
- Contribute to product improvement, modernization and standardization, and to the development of test methods.
- Monitor the technical characteristics and market offering of comparable products and analyze customer feedback.
Employee requirements
What we expect from you
- A university-level technical education.
- At least 3 years of experience in electronics engineering.
- Ability to work independently and carry out tasks responsibly.
- Solid knowledge of technical calculations, drawings, and standards for design documentation.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Inventor, Creo, SolidWorks or similar).
- Knowledge of manufacturing materials, technological processes and production equipment capabilities.
- Understanding of the technical requirements for the equipment being developed and its certification.
- Knowledge of occupational safety, fire safety and electrical safety requirements.
- Ability to defend your technical decisions with sound arguments and to work as part of a team.
- Confidentiality and a sense of responsibility for high-quality, timely work.
- Experience developing photonic, optical or electronic devices.
- Experience preparing prototype test methods and carrying out durability testing.
- Experience preparing patent applications, standards or certificates.
- Knowledge of English and Russian for working with international partners and technical specifications.
