DevOps Engineer

Contribee, a creative monetization platform trusted by over 4,000 developers across the European Union, is looking for a DevOps / Infrastructure Administrator to join our team and take care of the stability, security, and smooth operation of the Laravel application in production and testing environments.

Your main tasks:

  • Ensure the stability of production and testing environments – administer cloud servers, network, DNS records, SSL certificates, domains and access;
  • Maintain the technical environment of the Laravel application – PHP, Composer dependencies, queue workers, scheduler/cron tasks, Redis, cache, file storage;
  • Manage the release process so that it has the least impact on users – asset versioning, cache invalidation, safe DB migrations, queue worker restarts;
  • Respond promptly to production incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions;
  • Ensure automatic DB, file and configuration backups and regularly test the restore process;
  • Administer access according to the principle of least privilege, securely manage secrets and API keys;
  • Automate repetitive processes using scripting and Infrastructure as Code principles;
  • Analyze infrastructure bottlenecks and optimize the use of servers, DB, cache and queue;
  • Independently identify technical risks, maintain documentation, and communicate with development and QA teams.

What do we expect from you:

  • Experience in administering servers and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean or similar);
  • Experience with PHP/Laravel applications in production environments: Composer, queue, scheduler, Redis, cache;
  • CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions or similar) and understanding of deployment/rollback processes;
  • Knowledge of network basics: DNS, SSL certificates, firewall;
  • Understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL administration, backup and restore processes;
  • Ability to independently analyze problems and prioritize risks;
  • Good communication with development and QA teams;
  • Understanding of cloud cost optimization and scaling solutions (we would consider it an advantage);
  • Excellent English skills (required)

Salary

2200-3000 €/mon. net
Salary depending on the competencies, practical experience and level of independence.
The final amount is negotiated individually, after assessing technical knowledge and experience.
