Director/Production Manager working in production

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Production Manager / Director to take over the management of production and our unit in Klaipėda.

About the position:

You will play a key role in further developing the company's activities. This position includes responsibility for production and overall management of the company's activities and development. You will be responsible for daily processes and will work closely with the team, customers, suppliers and company owners.

Since we are a small organization, this position will require you to work at both the strategic and operational levels. We expect active participation in daily activities, the ability to make independent decisions and effectively solve emerging challenges.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

• Production management: plan, organize and manage daily production processes.
• Quality and delivery: ensure high quality of production and timely fulfillment of orders.
• Finance and accountability: be responsible for the company's performance, budgeting and reporting to the board.
• Resource planning: effectively plan personnel, production capacities and material flows.
• Team leadership: lead employees, develop, support and encourage them to improve.
• Work environment and processes: ensure a safe, structured work environment, constantly improve procedures and work methods.
• Supply chain: maintain sustainable relationships with suppliers, monitor orders, deliveries, costs and key performance indicators.
• Representation and development: represent the company in dealing with state institutions, partners and seek new business development opportunities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Leadership Experience: Successful experience in production, operations or performance management.
• Team Management: Experience in leading people, developing employees and effectively organizing team work.
• Financial Literacy: Understanding of financial management, budgeting and monitoring performance.
• International Experience: Experience working with clients or suppliers in international markets.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, set priorities and create a clear structure for daily work.
• Process Optimization: Orientation towards continuous process improvement and increasing operational efficiency.
• Language Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of English (verbal and written).
• Education: Relevant education or equivalent practical experience.

Advantages (preferred experience):

• Work experience in printing, packaging production or other graphic industry.
• Knowledge of production planning, material flow management and quality assurance in the graphic production sector.
• Knowledge of graphic production processes, equipment used and quality standards.
• Knowledge of Swedish would be an advantage.

Note: experience in the graphic production / packaging industry is an advantage, but not necessary. What is most important to us is your leadership skills, business understanding and desire to develop your business.
