Nature of work
- Participate in the implementation and development of Power BI solutions (models, reports, standards) in the Vičiūnai group;
- Create, maintain and optimize Power BI data models, reports and dashboards;
- Prepare and optimize SQL queries (data selection, transformations, validation);
- Create advanced DAX matrices, KPIs and business logic for reports;
- Cooperate closely with:
financial analysts and business representatives (indicator logic, reporting needs);
- Analyze and translate business needs into analytical solutions;
- Contribute to the development of Power BI best practices, standards and documentation;
- Help raise the level of data literacy in the organization (consultations, explanations, recommendations).
Employee requirements
- Experience working with Power BI (reports, semantic models, publishing, user rights);
- Very good SQL knowledge (MS SQL, Azure SQL or similar DB);
- Practical experience in creating DAX formulas (KPIs, complex business logic);
- Understanding of data modeling (fact/dimension, star schema, many-to-many);
- Experience working in a team between different functions (IT, finance, business);
- Ability to understand business processes and structure analytical solutions;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows, Pipelines - an advantage);
- Analytical thinking, responsibility and ability (independently solve problems and take responsibility for the result) to work independently.
