Currently, the Department of Financial Policy is looking for a colleague and invites a Data Analyst to join its team in the State Service.

Main responsibilities and objectives:
- Perform various kinds of qualitative and numerical analyses, assessments, prepare concepts, present insights and conclusions in a concentrated, clear, well-argued manner;
- Coordinate the preparation of a large-scale analytical document;
- Analyze European Union and Lithuanian documents related to public finance management issues;
- Coordinate and/or prepare positions, various types of speeches, debates, presentations, etc. texts;
- Represent Lithuania in working groups of international institutions (e.g. European Commission, OECD, IMF, etc.) or in other international formats, Lithuanian inter-institutional working groups or ad-hock expert meetings.
We hope you:
- You have a higher university education (bachelor's degree) in economics, finance, mathematics or applied mathematics or have at least 1 year of work experience in the field of economics;
- You speak English at B1 level or higher;
- You are familiar with macroeconomics;
- You have strong analytical and large-scale information and project management skills;
- You are able to communicate fluently and in a reasoned manner;
- You are empathetic, responsible, cooperative, organized, result-oriented, negotiable, proactive, honest and open;
- You are willing and able to learn, you are not afraid of new topics and new tasks;
- Knowledge of public finance, knowledge of statistical analysis, knowledge of the R programming language or other programming languages is an advantage;
- You care about Lithuania and its future, you strive to create value for society.
Offered salary (gross): from 2050-3250 eur./month. The specific salary is negotiated individually, taking into account the available work experience, competencies and compliance with other requirements of the position.
A probationary period of 3 months is expected.
