DATA ANALYTICS TEAM LEADER

We are currently looking for a Data Analytics Team Leader to join the Data Management Division of the Digital Solutions and Data Management Department.

In this role, you will be responsible for the direction of the data analytics function, the efficiency of multiple teams, and the creation of analytics value for the business. You will lead 2 data analytics teams (~20 employees) through senior experts, ensuring high quality standards, resource utilization, and strong partnerships with the management team.

You will contribute to the creation of a green and safe energy ecosystem:

• By forming and implementing a data analytics and insights strategy that directly contributes to business growth and operational efficiency;
• By leading the data analytics function: ensuring an operating model, capacity allocation, functional excellence, and talent development;
• Managing a portfolio of multiple teams: prioritizing initiatives, aligning resources, and ensuring the greatest impact of analytics on the organization;
• Acting as a strategic partner to the leadership team: helping transform complex business challenges into sustainable analytical solutions and insights;
• Strengthening a data-driven culture in the organization: developing analytics standards, methodological frameworks, and quality standards;
• Ensuring the value of the analytics function to the business: managing the budget, assessing the impact of initiatives, and helping to maximize the potential of data products;
• Representing the analytics function in working with data engineering and data governance teams: coordinating joint decisions, prioritizing data quality issues, and ensuring representation of analytics needs;
• Contributing to the Company's and the Group's most important initiatives, projects, and working groups related to data, analytics, and organizational transformation.

• College degree;
• 8+ years of experience in data, analytics, BIor related field;
• At least 4 years of leadership experience managing an analytics function, multiple teams, or a larger data/analytics organization;
• Experience managing a portfolio of multiple teams, prioritizing initiatives, and allocating resources based on business priorities.
• Ability to be a strategic partner to executives and translate business needs into analytics direction;
• Experience developing or implementing analytics standards, methodological frameworks, quality principles, or data-driven work practices;
• Strategic understanding of [b]DWH, Cloud, BI platforms, semantic modeling, and data product principles;
• Good knowledge of “GDPR” and data governance principles;
• Experience in budget management, assessing the business value of initiatives and ensuring return on investment.
• Strong skills in strategic planning, change management and stakeholder management;
• Strong analytical and structured thinking;
• Excellent Lithuanian and very good oral and written English skills.

An advantage would be:

• Experience in leading through senior experts or other managers;
• Experience working in a regulated environment or in the critical infrastructure sector;
• Experience in managing external partners, suppliers or procurement related to the analytics function;
• Education in mathematics, statistics, data science, computer science, engineering, economics or another related field.

The fixed salary range for the position group is from EUR 4,260 to EUR 6,380 (excluding taxes). The specific salary is offered based on work experience and competence. A variable salary may be paid in addition to the salary.
