Data Architect (Snowflake)

Kaunas - UAB „Kosmelita“

Nature of work:

  • Migrating group companies' data from different systems (SAP BI, D365 F&O, MS SQL, etc.) to the Snowflake data platform;
  • Designing and developing the Bronze/Silver data layer architecture;
  • Understanding existing SAP BI business logics and replicating them in the Snowflake environment;
  • Supporting the existing SAP BI environment during the transition period (incident resolution, data reloads);
  • Data quality control, creating validation rules and monitoring loads;
  • Transferring validated data to third-party systems;
  • Daily work with artificial intelligence tools (Claude, Claude Code) — for data logic analysis, code development and review;
  • Close cooperation with the financial data architect responsible for the Gold layer and reports.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of work experience in the field of data engineering / data warehousing (DWH);
  • Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehousing (BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse or similar);
  • Strong SQL skills (queries, procedures, optimization) and data modeling experience (Raw/Bronze/Silver/Gold layer logic);
  • Experience in developing and supporting ETL/ELT processes;
  • Ability to independently understand unfamiliar systems and work with uncertainty;
  • Openness to work with artificial intelligence tools and the ability to critically evaluate their results;
  • Ability to make independent decisions and work in a team;
  • Good English skills;

Advantages:

  • Knowledge of data structures of D365 F&O, Axapta or similar ERP systems;
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting/automation languages;
  • Experience with data quality/observability tools;
